Returns & Refunds Policy
At Seeks, every piece is designed and crafted with great care, one at a time, just for you. Because of the handcrafted, made-to-order nature of our work, we operate a different kind of returns policy than mass-produced retailers.
Made-to-Order Furniture (Product Line)
All items from our product line are made-to-order and crafted individually based on your selected options (wood species, finish, seat type, etc.).
· Cancellations: Orders may be canceled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund. After 48 hours, production begins and materials are allocated—cancellation requests after this point will not be eligible for a refund.
· Returns: Due to the made-to-order nature of our furniture, we do not accept returns unless the item arrives damaged or defective. If your piece arrives with damage from transit, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and documentation.
· Refunds: Approved refunds for damaged or defective items will be processed back to the original payment method. Refunds do not include original shipping or delivery fees.
Custom Commissions
Custom commissions involve a personalized design process and handcrafted fabrication, tailored specifically for each client.
· A non-refundable $500 design fee is due prior to beginning the design phase.
· A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in the build schedule.
· The remaining 50% balance (including delivery/crating fees) is due prior to delivery or pickup.
Due to the bespoke nature of commissioned work, we do not offer returns or refunds on commissions once a deposit has been paid.
If you have concerns about the final product, we encourage open dialogue throughout the design and build process to ensure satisfaction.
Shipping & Delivery
· Local Pickup: Free from our Port Townsend, WA workshop.
· Hand Delivery: Available regionally (PNW). Pricing and eligibility based on distance and order value.
· Shipping Outside the Region: We can coordinate freight shipping and custom crating across the continental U.S. Fees will be quoted separately and invoiced prior to shipment. These are non-refundable once the order is shipped.
Please note: Cart totals on the website do not include shipping or crating fees. These will be billed separately before delivery.
Warranty & Defects
We stand by the quality of our work. If a material or craftsmanship issue arises within 3 years of delivery, please reach out. We’ll evaluate the issue and, if it falls within our warranty scope, repair or replace the item at our discretion.
This warranty does not cover:
· Normal wear and tear
· Water damage, abuse, or improper care
· Changes in wood tone or movement due to natural aging or environmental conditions
