General Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all custom and made-to-order furniture orders placed through Seeks.

Payment Terms

For made-to-order products purchased directly through our online shop, full payment for the furniture is due at checkout. Shipping and delivery fees are invoiced separately once the order is complete and ready for pickup or delivery. That invoice is due within 15 days and due prior to delivery or pickup.

For custom commissions, a $500 non-refundable design fee is required to begin the design process. A 50% non-refundable downpayment of the total commission cost, not including delivery/shipping, is due once the design proposal is approved to reserve a production slot. Due to the bespoke nature of commissioned work, we do not offer returns or refunds on commissions once a deposit has been paid.

The remaining balance, including delivery or shipping fees, is due prior to pickup or shipment and invoiced separately. Invoices must be paid within 15 days. Late payments may incur a 5% fee on the outstanding balance for every 7-day period past due.

Design & Revisions

Custom commissions include a paid, non-refundable design phase with up to two (2) rounds of revisions. Additional revisions are billed at $75/hour.

Timeline & Lead Time

Standard lead times for made-to-order pieces are typically 8–12 weeks, but may vary. Clients are notified of an estimated production window once the order or deposit is received. Orders are fulfilled in the order received.

Rush Orders

Rush orders may be accepted at Seeks' discretion and are subject to a rush fee of 20–50% depending on the required timeline and complexity.

Changes to Scope

Once a design is approved, any changes to materials, dimensions, or features will be considered a change of scope and may result in additional charges or timeline adjustments.

Storage

Finished pieces must be picked up or scheduled for delivery within 14 days of completion. After this period, a $75/week storage fee applies unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Shipping

Shipping is available across the contiguous U.S. and quoted separately from online purchases or commissions. Costs include custom crating, freight coordination, and carrier fees. Shipping fees are invoiced once the order is complete.

Repairs & Warranty

Seeks provides a 3-year craftsmanship warranty covering structural issues. Natural variations in wood and finish are not considered defects. Repairs beyond the warranty period may be available at a fee.

Ownership & Intellectual Property

Designs, sketches, and proposals remain the intellectual property of Seeks until full payment is received. Seeks reserves the right to photograph and share finished work for marketing and portfolio use.
